What is the most promising part of your life that...
Yan ang tanong na nabunot ko noong 2007 Mr. and Ms. College of Science q and a portion. Ngumiti ako after basahin nung mc ang tanong. Ngiting aso. Ang sagot pa nga niya blush on. Joke time ata tong q and a. Iba-iba ng degree of difficulty ang...
MRT diary
You can meet a lot of people in public markets, but you can be too preoccupied to even notice them. You might encounter a number of strangers in a jampacked bus, but you can barely see their faces. You can be seated inside a jeepney with more than a dozen other people, but the noise, heat, and pollution are a big distraction. It is only in the MRT that you can read people’s faces and know...
We really do not need others to tell us what we can do. We have the power to start something that can change even just our small corner of the world. Every scene that is played out in front of our eyes is an opportunity to let the hero inside of us out. We have within us the power to bring positive changes in the lives of others. Yes, we are the change. So let us be.

I think one dose of youngblood entry would be enough for a day’s inspiration. Nagstart ito, as far as I can remember, 1993 0r 1994. I bought the three compilations of these articles. Paulit-ulit ko ring binabasa. I shared the books to Claire and Emae. Ang ganda kasi ng mga kwento. Iba...
Second best
Is it everyone’s dream to be No. 1?
Honestly, I don’t know.
All my life I can remember only three instances when I landed on the first spot. The first came during grade school when I bested the whole class in our spelling contest. It was not a big event, just a class exercise, but I really felt proud of my accomplishment. I got the right spelling of the word “school.”
The second time I...
Mr. Imperfect

A must read for girls out there. So cheesy.

One day I hope to meet an imperfect man who will seem perfect to me from time to time.
He will not be the best I have ever met, but he will be great when I need him to be. He will hold my hand when we cross the street and make sure I stay on the safe side of the road. He will kiss me goodnight before I go to sleep, and he will...

Sobrang naka-relate ako rito. Sobra.

I was born into a family that leaves unspoken some meaningful words like “Thank you,” “I love you” and even “Happy birthday!” Our father, a strict disciplinarian, probably had much to do with it. We have distanced ourselves from everything sweet, mushy and cuddly. But still our home is filled with the familiar noise of a typical...
It's Christmas time, if you would be sent to CDO...
I remember a question similar to this and of course my basis for drafting the question. The Q and A in the Mr. and Ms. Medicine in 2009.
As a doctor, you would be sent to Maguindanao, how would you comfort the families of the victims of the Maguindanao Massacre?
The question was quite difficult. And I am expecting so much from the contestants knowing that they are would-be doctors.
The winning...
A meaningful Christmas
To be struck by disaster at any time is already traumatic; to experience it right before Christmas is to suffer the unkindest cut of all. For the victims and survivors of Tropical Storm “Sendong” in Mindanao, this is their cross to bear at present—having to mourn for loved ones lost and belongings devastated in the midst of a season associated in one’s bone with cheer and plenty everywhere,...
“We have to examine our hearts.. What we truly celebrate this “christmas”..

Farewell 2011
It is indeed my year. I’ve received so much blessings from God. I am very thankful for all of these gifts. And so before this year ends and before Christmas day arrives I wanna thank God for the good and bad things that 2011 gave me. It bacame a test of my strength, character and faith.
Last February-March, I had a wonderful camp in India, met Asian friends, enjoyed their cuisines, amazed...
It's true, nakakasawa na
Nakakasawa na ang manood ng news regarding Sendong tragedy no matter how much you sympathize with the victims. There’s nothing wrong with the media exposing everything, stories of survival and deaths, heroic acts, undying hopes, undaunted courage and resilient acts, or even the diagnoses of the real cause of the tragedy. It is well within their profession.
Ang nakakasawa is we never learn....
Photos of Sendong Tragedy
I dunno if there’s a sense on what I think. As I browse the net photos of Sendong victims are everywhere. Photos that are being re-posted and re-blogged a million times. Photos of Filipino cadavers in their most morbid image.
I really don’t know what to say or what to feel every time that these photos are being feasted by the public. I mean the photos of the cadavers. Do we really...
Things I am Looking Forward in 2012
Maguindanao Massacre, sana umusad kahit konti.
Impeachment ni Corona, kailangan na niyang ma-impeach. Swear.
Passing CrimLaw II. Huhu
Another presidency, pang-apat ko na ‘to pag nagkataon. Naks. Haha.
A calmer Noliver, isa itong malaking struggle. Hoho.
Success ng PLM Law Gazette, news writer kasi ako jan. Yey.
Good economy,...
And then comes tumblr. Bigla akong nalungkot. Daming namatay. Naranasan ko kasi ang Ondoy dati. Tinapon pa nga yong...
Crowning glory
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Finally, Congress has voted overwhelmingly to act on the presidential complaint and impeached Renato Corona. That’s the second best Christmas gift the House of Representatives has given the nation. The first of course was impeaching Erap (Joseph Estrada) 11 years ago.
The articles of impeachment against Corona are legion and richly deserved. The...
Few Filipinos realize the seriousness of the present crisis. Most of them are more concerned with just surviving. The judiciary has nobody to blame but itself for this lack of public support. The reason is that we have the slowest justice system in the world and many Filipinos are fed up with that. They blame the courts, the judges and the prosecutors for that and, most of all, the Supreme Court...
The Aquino Avenue
Mr. Rene Lopez Relampagos is a friendly man. His website offers a variety of options for the inquiring citizen seeking to contact the honorable representative of the first district of Bohol. He makes available an e-mail address, two Facebook pages, and videos of himself addressing his constituents and dictating the address of his personal website. He appeals for civility from the cynical...
Vote for the 2011 WikiPinoy of the Year
The nominees for the 2011 WikiPinoy of the year are:

Parang walang nakikita. Parang walang naririnig. Never ko siyang nilimusan.

Stale ‘pandesal’
In school, we were told to watch the news or read the newspaper daily. As journalism students, we were supposed to make it a habit to read about current events and watch the latest broadcast on what was happening in the country and around the world. We were not told to understand what these events meant, all we were asked to do was see if the stories were well researched or well written....
When Tumblr Turns Into A Shit
Walong buwan na ko sa tumblr. I started using it on April 04 this year. As compared to many who have been here for decades. Chos. Habang tumatagal palala ng palala. Nag-eevolve nang nag-eevolve. Ginagawa na ring chatbox ngayon. Ewan ko nga kung writing blog pa ba to, e-diary, photobucket o isang simpleng social networking na lang na kahit tuldok i-post mo basta gwapo ka eh ila-like na ng...
And so if Piolo is GAY?
I mean, whether or not Piolo is gay, it is none of our business. Who are we to judge him?
My friend Julz says, eh kasi ayaw niya pang magpakatotoo. Perhaps, that is his difference with other gays like Rustom or Ricky Martin who weren’t afraid in coming out publicly notwithstanding its effect on their integrity as former hunks and wholesome actors who have lured many women into thinking that...
Grabe lang.
Takte. Gigising ka ng 1:30am para magreview for an exam. Tapos wala. Pakshet. Buti sana kung...
